Job Description Summary:


Reports to the Director, Merchandising with a dotted line to the Manager of Content Planning. The Specialist works extensively across corporate marketing functions and Market teams. The MS collaborates within the overall Brand Team to ensure store specific content aligns with overall AutoNation Brand campaigns, supports OEM initiatives, and is consistent with local needs to drive production efforts and ensure deadlines are achieved.


Job Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate development of integrated local and national campaigns while driving cross channel adoption
  • Participate in monthly content planning meetings, contributing OEM specific content and incorporating events into overall marketing strategies
  • Implement manufacturer offers and promotional event details to produce assets for customer facing communications and marketing campaigns
  • Build Ad Specials and coordinate production of promotional assets with agency partners
  • Develop OEM Brand subject matter expertise, including guidelines, events and launches, and guide the team towards the inclusion of content within overall strategy
  • Support OEM brand specific marketing efforts and business needs by leading ad-hoc communication development at a localized level
  • Drive implementation of OEM, legal and AutoNation guidelines as well as ensure overall compliance
  • Process and input job request into Job Management System (JIRA), drive channel assignments and achieve defined SLAs
  • Manage third party and channel production schedule as well as develop and administer remediation plans as required
  • Demonstrate and advocate company vision, mission, and values. Adhere to company policy and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
  • MBA preferred Minimum 5 years marketing and/or agency account service
  • Demonstrated project management and organizational competency
  • Demonstrated campaign development and administration experience
  • Experience working with high volume, detailed work processes and deadlines
  • Ability to work cooperatively with internal and external departments
  • Strong organization, interpersonal and influencing skills
  • In depth knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines
  • Must meet company’s requirements for employment


Physical Requirements:

  • Light travel (up to several days per year) and Standard office environment
