Cella is seeking a Digital Community Manager to join our client, a reputable and iconic brand in the beauty and cosmetics industry, for a 5-month full-time contract. Bring your passion for beauty and storytelling to the Digital Community Manager role, where you will be responsible for supporting brand community management, building relationships with the brand communities, aiding in content creation efforts, and supporting additional digital activities as needed. In your role, you'll significantly impact the brand by driving organic lift and awareness of the brand and its' iconic products. Responsibilities:

Aid in brand awareness and foster brand love through management of our community communications

Manage and monitor community inbounds across all social platforms

Conduct positive, proactive and consistent engagement with fan queries, consumer/creator content and industry trends

Help refine and articulate Brand's authentic voice on social media through engaging copy/captions

Communicate with the customer service team on product orders and promotions

Demonstrate ability to spot potential crisis and escalate consumer inbounds that need attention

Support proactive and reactive organic relationship building with influencers and community

Foster development of new relationships on behalf of Brand

Support ordering of product for send outs to seed and support growing community of fans!

Engage in social listening to identify and act on trends with agile content creation

Bring product education to life via engaging social content

Support content capture at events and on set where applicable

Identify, source and secure organic UGC opportunities to insert in to owned brand social content

Collaborate and align with key partners to ensure marketing campaigns, new product launches, events and partnerships are supported on social

Support analytics and reporting via daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting

Utilize data-driven insights to refine community management strategies, ensuring content effectiveness and continuous improvement

Share back weekly and monthly community insights and metrics for cross-functional tracking and reporting

Generate competitive reports and engage in competitive outreach

Qualifications:

2+ years in social media management and community management

Excellent verbal communication and writing skills

Passion for storytelling

A creative eye to curate cohesive tone of voice in community management

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit

Enthusiastic attitude and flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace

Passionate about social and digital media with an eye for trends

Strong collaborator

Passionate about makeup and pop culture, beauty enthusiast is a plus!

Willing to work some nights and weekends as needed

Experience with content creation is a plus but not mandatory

Ability to commute to our Los Angeles office 3 days a week
