Job Description The candidate will be working link level simulation for 6G physical layer studies. Features to be studied/implemented may include, but not limited to: 6G modulation/coding link-level simulations Beyond-5G technologies applied to physical layer communications, such as AI/ML, joint sensing, new spectrum, etc. The candidate will also work on literature survey and simulations for 6G topics, such as advanced modulation/coding, MIMO and other physical layer

Requirement Ph.D. student who is currently enrolling in Electrical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or Communication Engineering major. Proficient-to-expert programming skills in Python, C/C++, and Matlab Knowledge of communication theory, digital signal processing, wireless channel modeling, as well a solid background in cellular systems Applicable experience in modulation/coding and OFDM. Understanding of AI/ML and/or radar engineering is a plus Knowledge of wireless standards (3GPP NR/LTE, WLAN, Bluetooth, etc.)
Salary range: $40-$60/hour Actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications.
