Role Description
#1 Audio Visual Technician
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the greater Los Angeles, CA area. The role requires travel within a 60-mile radius to support various projects. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for installing, managing, and maintaining AV systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and setting up and operating equipment to ensure seamless performance.
#2 Prewire Technician
This is a full-time, on-site position based in the greater Los Angeles, CA area, with travel within a 60-mile radius for various projects. As a Prewire Technician, you will be responsible for running and installing low-voltage wiring in both new construction and retrofit environments. Key duties include labeling, terminating, and testing cables to ensure proper connectivity, as well as working closely with project teams to meet installation requirements and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
- No previous experience necessary – we provide training for the right candidate.
- Experience in low-voltage wiring is a plus but not required.
- Ideal for candidates with an electrical background – an easy transition into low-voltage work.
- Ability to run, pull, and terminate low-voltage wiring in both new construction and retrofit environments.
- Knowledge of structured cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, fiber optics, coaxial, speaker wire, etc.) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics for cable placement and routing.
- Strong labeling and cable management skills for organized and efficient installations.
- Proficiency in using tools such as fish tape, cable pullers, crimping tools, and termination kits.
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for low-voltage wiring and terminations.
- Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve wiring issues.
- Comfortable working in construction environments, including attics, crawl spaces, and high-ceiling installations.
- Professional presentation is key – candidates must maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
- Ability to work in a clean environment, respect others, and maintain professionalism on job sites.
- Adaptability to different schedules – as part of the service industry, we accommodate our clients' schedules, which may include early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, following project timelines and client specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for job site travel within a 60-mile radius.
