Zawyer Sports & Entertainment is seeking highly motivated, outgoing, and dedicated candidates for our Marketing Department. Candidates should expect to build upon their work experience in the fast-paced, result-driven world of the sports & entertainment. Finalists will be contacted for interviews. All applications will be kept on file until the beginning of the internship program that each candidate applied for.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative and driven Graphic Design Intern to join our dynamic team in the sports and entertainment industry. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on real-world projects, contribute to creative concepts, and help bring sports, entertainment, and client visuals to life. As an intern, you will collaborate with experienced designers and marketing professionals to create compelling designs for digital, social, print, and promotional materials.
Timeline: Begins February/March 2025
Location: Jacksonville, FL - open to hybrid as well

- Assist in the design and development of graphics for social media campaigns, websites, event promotions, and advertising.
- Create visual content that aligns with brand guidelines and enhances the overall fan experience.
- Design layouts for digital platforms, including social media posts, website banners, email templates, and more.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate creative ideas for marketing and advertising materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure designs meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Help prepare and deliver final design assets for both print and digital use.
- Stay up-to-date with current design trends in the sports and entertainment industry.
- All other duties as assigned
- Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related program, or recent graduate with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
- A passion for sports and/or entertainment with an eye for visual storytelling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant design work (sports, entertainment, or event-related designs is a plus).
Compensation:
This is a non-paid internship. If an intern needs school credit, they can receive hours.
