Our client is looking for a highly organized Project Manager of Visual Merchandising Operations to support a global brand’s in-store marketing across retail and wholesale channels in North America. This role sits at the intersection of design, production, and project execution—driving forward seasonal display rollouts, store openings, events, and visual merchandising strategy.
About the Role:
You’ll manage end-to-end visual merchandising projects—from vendor communication and production timelines to overseeing the visual inbox and master VM calendar. You'll serve as the go-to resource for managing internal processes and external partnerships to ensure flawless execution of seasonal campaigns and in-store experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own all aspects of VM project execution across GTM, retail events, and store buildouts
- Manage timelines, track milestones, and coordinate across internal teams and external vendors
- Serve as the liaison between creative, marketing, operations, and legal to keep all moving parts aligned
- Maintain the master visual merchandising calendar and drive cross-functional clarity on deliverables
- Review budgets, lead project briefings, issue POs, and partner on vendor contracts and legal approvals
- Lead a small team, set goals, provide performance feedback, and support their development
- Collaborate on best-in-class visual merchandising strategies that reflect market trends and brand goals
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of retail visual merchandising experience, with 2+ years at a regional or global corporate level
- 2+ years of experience directly managing reports and leading cross-functional collaboration
- Project management expertise and a background in overseeing timelines, approvals, and vendor coordination
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and PowerPoint
- Experience with project management tools like Asana is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Bachelor’s degree in visual merchandising, fashion, retail marketing, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven retail environment
Additional Info:
- Hybrid schedule (3 days onsite in Boston/Lawrence, 2 days remote)
- Immediate start preferred
