Contract Senior UX Writer
Duration: 3 months
Pay: $67/hr
Onsite in Seattle
We are working with a large e-commerce tech company seeking a Contract UX Writer to help deliver innovative products. The ideal candidate has a strong UX writing background, is eager to learn about devices, and pays attention to detail. You should be able to translate complex user instructions into concise, customer-friendly documentation.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Manage 3-7 projects daily
- Collaborate with Legal, PMs, DPMs to create content for new features, settings, and customer support that is informative and educational
- Ensure content accessibility
- Handle localization, including character count constraints
- Contribute to interaction design decisions
- Create content for settings, features, and error messages
- Respond to intake tickets
- Follow design and style guidelines for consistency
- Use tools such as MS Word, Confluence, Google Docs, Quip, and Figma
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of UX writing experience
- 3+ years of UX writing experience in devices
- 5+ years of experience with localization (character count)
- 5+ years of experience informing interaction design
