Our client is looking for a creative and eager Assistant Video Editor to join their team and focus on social media. This is an exciting, entry-level job opportunity to work on a variety of projects and hone in on exceptional video editing skills. The role requires a keen attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment and knack for staying up-to-date on industry trends!
Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Edit video content for use primarily on social media - Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
- Consistency ensure up-to-date knowledge of specific platform requirements ensuring all videos are properly edited and optimized for each channel
- Add special effects, transitions, creative and animations to level up visual appeal and effectiveness of videos
- Ensure all video assets meet brand guidelines and maintain a level of consistency without becoming boring and repetitive
- Proven experience in video editing with a focus on use on social media
- Advanced skills in video editing softwares: Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve preferred
- Proficiency with Photoshop and AfterEffects preferred
- Desire to continue learning and enhancing skills
- Interest in motion graphics
- Passion for overall video production
- Degree in related field preferred
