Accounts Payable Specialist - Manufacturing Company in Northeast Aurora

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position offers stability, teamwork, and opportunities to refine your skills in a collaborative setting.

• Process and code high-volume freight invoices with accuracy.
• Assist with bi-weekly check runs to ensure timely vendor payments.
• Research vendor invoices and statements, resolving discrepancies and tracking payment status.
• Maintain strong vendor communication, addressing inquiries professionally and efficiently.
• Support filing, documentation, and other accounts payable functions as needed.

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing multiple-entity accounts payable (a plus, but not required).
• Strong understanding of 3-way matching in invoice processing.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new software systems.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.
• Reliable and proactive team player with a strong work ethic.
