We are offering a contract for permanent employment for a Technical Writer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will collaborate with various IT teams, including developers, network engineers, IAM, and data teams. The position involves creating high-quality technical manuals, user guides, knowledge base articles, and API documentation, as well as leading IT-related trainings.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with IT teams to produce comprehensive technical manuals.
• Develop user guides that simplify complex technical processes for non-technical users.
• Write knowledge base articles to support internal and external users.
• Create API documentation that is clear and concise for developers and engineers.
• Lead IT-related trainings to ensure all stakeholders understand the technology and its uses.
• Utilize Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Adobe FrameMaker for documentation development.
• Apply AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodologies in the development process.
• Ensure content adheres to AP Style guidelines.
• Conduct audits on the content to ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Keep abreast of advancements in computer hardware to inform content development.• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat is essential for the role of Technical Writer.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud is expected.
• Experience with Adobe FrameMaker will be beneficial for the candidate.
• Skills in Adobe Illustrator are required for this position.
• Proficiency in Adobe RoboHelp will be advantageous.
• Knowledge and understanding of AB Testing are necessary for this role.
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology is desired.
• Familiarity with AP Style writing is expected.
• Ability to perform auditing tasks is a prerequisite for this position.
• A strong understanding of Computer Hardware is necessary for the role of Technical Writer.
