Job Title: Senior UX Designer
The Senior User Experience Designer leads iterative design activities to deliver products and user experiences that delight customers and end-users, whether on desktop websites, native mobile applications, or physical devices. The role involves collaborating with product managers, system engineers, operations personnel, UX team members, and software engineers to understand business and user needs for new features and enhancements.
Responsibilities include conducting user requirements analysis, task analysis, conceptual modeling, information architecture design, interaction design, and usability evaluation for assigned user stories. Designing, prototyping, and specifying user interfaces and information architecture using participatory and iterative techniques, including observational studies, stakeholder interviews, usability evaluations, and other requirements discovery methods.
Ensuring the application of UX processes within the product development cycle and working closely with sprint teams to ensure design specifications are implemented. Participating in interdisciplinary sprint/scrum teams comprising product management, business and brand strategists, and hardware and software developers to deliver the product to market.
Job Requirements:
- Portfolio demonstrating ability to solve complex usability challenges through UI and UX design, including process/logic flow diagrams, wireframes, high-fidelity prototypes, and user-testable interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of user interface design processes and methodology, especially for web-based applications, native mobile apps, and medical applications.
- Proficiency with prototyping tools such as InVision (preferred), Axure, and knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS.
- Experience with visual design tools like Sketch, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Desired Skills:
- Expertise in using color, style, iconography, typography, information design, and visual hierarchy to clarify data and indicate relationships.
- Experience designing healthcare-related and data-heavy technology products.
