Operations Leader | Culinary Professional | Food and Beverage Overview Lisa Dupar Catering is seeking a qualified candidate for the event planner position. Lisa Dupar Catering executes 1,600 events annually while maintaining the highest standards for excellence in food and service.Our event planners have the opportunity to work with amazing clients and sites across the greater Seattle area.Upon hiring, our candidate will enter into a comprehensive training program; the training program is customized based on previous experience and is designed for the participant to gain firsthand, ground level knowledge of service, operations, kitchen and front of house operations.Upon completion of this training program, one will have broad knowledge of our product, services, equipment, and polices & procedures and will be prepared to plan the “complete experience” events for which Lisa Dupar Catering is renowned. Essential Functions ·In all interactions, operate in alignment with the company’s values of respect, integrity, active communication, responsibility and value ·Develop and maintain excellent client relations while coordinating all details associated with each event ·Attend weekly production & sales meetings prepared with all relevant information and questions answered ·Support off-site events as needed Core Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills In-depth food and food service knowledge Effective multi-tasking and follow-up ability Computer skills: MS Office, Caterease Logistically minded while embracing conceptual thinking abilities Highly developed time, workload and information management skills; MUST have strong attention to detail Self-motivating and flexible Ability to build relationships and work in a team environment ·Ability to work under the direction of others and perform special projects as assigned Ability to work independently, set priorities, meet deadlines and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment Education, Training & Experience ·3 years minimum work experience in related field: catering, food & beverage, hospitality, event and/or sales industry ·Primarily Lisa Dupar Catering office; catering production kitchen and various off-site venues as needed ·Availability required for extended and various work hours, including nights and weekends ·Onsite training will be hourly; then turns to a salaried position once onsite training is complete and EP is in office full time. ·Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, mileage reimbursement, paid time off, company provided daily lunch Please include a cover letter with your application outlining your interest in this position.
