Position Description:
Our Team is looking to bring a CAD Technician to help support growing Telecoms Design efforts. You’ll join our global team, working on AutoCAD and Revit-based design for IT networking infrastructure projects. With a keen eye for detail, you will be responsible for executing design projects, updating standard details in 2D and 3D , and collaborating with the Project Management team to establish BIM requirements and standards. The ideal candidate will be proficient with BIM360, Revit, and Autodesk tooling, with a proven ability to work in both 2D and 3D environments. Familiarity with blocks, elements, families, and template creation is crucial. Your agility and effective multi-tasking skills will be put to use as you manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
Required Skills:
- At least 3 years of operating experience in Revit with the ability to work and manage layers
- Strong working experience with 3D drawings and designs
- Minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design
- Basic knowledge of IT systems and materials
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience supporting projects in telecoms or IT Infrastructure domains
- Bachelor's degree in applicable Engineering field
- Experience with automation scripting (Dynamo or Python)
- Experience with Navisworks
