Seeking a multifaceted candidate who can perform independent research, review technical documentation, and efficiently interview technical experts to translate highly technical information into resonant customer-facing documentation and products for diverse audiences of varying technical literacy. These products might include user manuals, procedures, reports, how-to guides, specifications, presentations, and bulletins. Technical documentation to include text and graphics created by our candidate is reliably accurate, complete, and consistently aligns with established writing, formatting, and style standards and guidelines.
In addition to meticulous technical writing skills, our ideal candidate has an eye for making documents, graphics, and presentations visually stunning. The ideal candidate is very familiar with built-in formatting and headings functions within MS Word and takes pleasure in using them to create consistent repeatable templates and documentation.
Preferred but not required, what sets our ideal candidate apart from the average technical writer is their business analysis acumen. The ideal candidate is a strategically minded, technically competent problem solver and information synthesizer who writes extremely well. Someone with a penchant for finding and squashing inefficiencies and who can straddle business and technical domains. Relevant experience includes corralling stakeholders of diverse backgrounds, decomposing complex problems in the near and far terms, robustly capturing business and user requirements, and translating those requirements into systems requirements and specifications.

- You know how to handle difficult or unresponsive stakeholders
- You are relentless about closing information gaps, by any means necessary
