We are looking for someone who understands financials and can effectively create communication using newsletters and professional decks for management in the Finance space. This individual must have solid PowerPoint skills to create polished, visually appealing, and professional presentations. They must also understand the financial institution business to develop relevant and impactful communications. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to grasp what is happening in the Finance space, providing clarity and insights through engaging materials. This person should bring creativity and flair to all communication, ensuring alignment and understanding within the Controllers Transformation space. A great eye for design is essential to make all deliverables look professional and engaging.
Responsibilities:
- Contributes to the design, roll-out, and governance of financial solutions, including:
- Developing and delivering clear, engaging newsletters and presentations to communicate updates, initiatives, and processes for Finance management and staff.
- Creating professional PowerPoint decks for senior management, ensuring they are visually appealing and aligned with Finance messaging.
- Adding creative flair to enhance employee engagement and understanding of Finance-related communications within the Controllers Transformation space.
- Participates in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization, and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations.
- Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance.
- Plays a part in operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and processes for global Finance communication.
- Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory, and market information into finance processes and applications.
- Resolves complex problems or transactions where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines, or processes.
- Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures, or products, creating well-designed communication materials that clearly articulate financial performance and key insights.
- May supervise day-to-day work of junior-level employees.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders to ensure all communications and materials align with broader Finance goals and initiatives.
- Can exercise independence of judgment and autonomy in crafting clear and concise messaging that reflects the dynamic nature of the Finance space.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and other team members, providing clarity on financial communications.
- Demonstrates excellent design sensibility, ensuring all decks and materials meet high professional standards.
- Appropriately assesses risk in business decisions, applying sound ethical judgment and compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and processes.
Qualifications:
- 5-8+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred.
- Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to create professional, visually appealing decks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to create impactful newsletters and presentations.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong understanding of financials and the financial institution business.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and presentation quality.
- Ability to understand and communicate Finance processes and updates clearly to various stakeholders.
- Proven ability to develop effective employee communications within a transformation space.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables effectively.

$87,280.00 - $130,920.00
