We are seeking an experienced Executive Communications Manager to join the AWS Specialists and Partners (ASP) organization. The successful candidate will work closely with ASP's Specialist Vice President, Go-to-Market, to scale AWS's value proposition to customers, partners, employees, and key stakeholders. This role involves developing and implementing strategic communications and engagement plans to promote the organization’s vision and strategic goals globally. Key responsibilities include designing messaging strategies, managing external engagements, preparing executives for speaking opportunities, collaborating with marketing and PR teams, and measuring communication impact. The role requires a passion for customer obsession, technology, and delivering results through effective communication. The candidate should have a proven track record of producing high-quality content, building trust among stakeholders, and managing multiple projects efficiently. This position involves 40-50% global travel, with up to two weeks per month traveling with senior leadership. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic messaging programs for technical and business audiences. Create narratives to acquire and grow customers and partners. Manage external engagements, including industry and thought leadership events. Set quality standards for technical content across AWS. Collaborate with ASP senior leadership and strategic communications teams. Engage with senior executives and industry leaders to promote AWS solutions. Prepare executives for speaking engagements and create related content. Coordinate with PR and marketing teams on communication strategies. Develop and deliver executive messages and presentations. Leverage thought leadership opportunities for ASP executives. Manage speaking engagement calendars and evaluate engagement impact. Monitor industry trends and provide guidance for high-pressure communications. Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels and handle sensitive information with discretion. Qualifications
Basic: 7+ years in Communications, Public Relations, or related field 5+ years supporting senior executives Experience in B2B technology sector Experience creating technical content for large audiences Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field Preferred: Exceptional writing and editing skills Experience using data to improve communications Building trust and influencing senior teams Experience with global marketing and strategic alliances Driving organizational change through communications Additional Information
