Columbus Fashion Academy is expanding and looking for passionate, creative, flexible and reliable individuals to join our afterschool team this Fall. If you love working with children and believe in the power of creativity, sustainability, and self-expression—we want to hear from you!

We’re hiring two types of instructor assistants:

Early Childhood Track: Ideal for education majors, retired teachers, or anyone with a heart for teaching kids.

Fashion Track: Perfect for fashion design students, creatives, or self-taught sewing enthusiasts ready to share their skills with the next generation.

About the Role

• Location: Various schools in Central Ohio (we try to match your location to reduce commute time)
• Commitment: Fall 2025 season (September-November) with potential to extend for the full school year if it’s a good fit

Requirements

• Must love working with elementary-aged children (ages 5–12)
• Patient, creative, responsible, detail-oriented, and dependable
• Reliable transportation required
• Must pass a background check and drug test
• Must be available for training in late August
• Open to college students, retirees, and sewing lovers of all ages
• Students may qualify for school credit hours—gain experience and save on tuition!
