Responsibilities
As a Program Manager, Market Intelligence within IPA, you will focus on understanding the competitive landscape for a geography with a focus on market entry, market capture, available solution, targeted workloads, infrastructure and datacenters. Success in the role will be in understanding the approach of our competitors and helping to make recommendations to drive impact for Microsoft. We are interested in where the market is going, not where it has been. The successful candidate will be able to discern reality vs. hype and will ideally have a background in market intelligence methods, data collection, data modeling as well as experience building executive ready PPT decks.
This role will work across internal stakeholders, external market analysts and develop a repeatable method for measuring Microsoft competitive advantage. The successful candidate must be collaborative, outcome orientated, and be able to apply solution-based thinking to critical problems.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmen
OR equivalent experience
Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Math, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
OR equivalent experience.
Ability to create executive slides and develop crisp messaging for executive leaders to clarify strategy and outcomes
Understanding of business and technology-related strategy
Demonstrated systematic attention to detail and critical thinking
Ability to manage relationships with third-party research providers
Understanding of cloud & Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption and the infrastructure transformation across geographies
Ability to build market models from disparate data sources
Knowledge of the Azure or competitive platform and infrastructure
Knowledge of Datacenter infrastructure planning and architecture experience
Background in consulting/research publishing a plus
Customer Experience Program Mgmt IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
