Job Title: Interior DesignerJob Description Provide design, space planning, contract documents, and coordination of finishes, FF&E specifications, RCP's, elevations, and millwork details for multi-family housing, hospitality, and interiors projects. Work from the beginning of the design process through installation. Responsibilities + Create design and space planning solutions for multi-family housing, hospitality, and interiors projects. + Prepare contract documents and coordinate finishes, FF&E specifications, RCP's, elevations, and millwork details. + Utilize AutoCAD and Revit for project designs. + Support projects from the initial design phase through to installation. + Collaborate with the design team to ensure project consistency and quality. Essential Skills + Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. + 3+ years of experience in commercial, multi-family, healthcare, and/or hospital interior design. + Experience supporting projects from design to installation. + Ability to grow into a project management role. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong understanding of space planning and FF&E specifications. + Ability to coordinate detailed elevations and millwork. + Excellent communication and teamwork skills. + Flexibility and autonomy in managing design projects. Work Environment The design team consists of 11 people and operates in a Class A office space in Canton, a converted church renovated into a modern commercial space. Employees benefit from a flexible work schedule, usually working 40-45 hour weeks without the extensive overtime typical of competitors. The role is onsite in Baltimore, working under a Senior Designer.
