Seeking a Technical Writer in the Memphis, TN area! Job Description Develop clear documentation including user manuals, technical guides, FAQs, and other documentation for products and solutions. Collaborate with all levels of employees to gather and organize technical information. Translate complex technical terms into easy-to-understand language for non-technical users, while maintaining accuracy. Ensure all documentation follows company guidelines and standards for tone, style, and format. Regularly revise and update existing documentation based on product updates, user feedback, and new features. Responsibilities + Create user manuals, technical guides, FAQs, and other documentation for products and solutions. + Collaborate with all levels of employees to gather and organize technical information. + Translate complex technical terms into easy-to-understand language for non-technical users, while maintaining accuracy. + Ensure all documentation follows company guidelines and standards for tone, style, and format. + Regularly revise and update existing documentation based on product updates, user feedback, and new features. + Train staff members through a presentation series of developed processes/procedures for consistent group operation. Essential Skills + Strong understanding of technical writing tools. + Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. + Excellent collaboration and communication skills. + Familiarity with manufacturing processes. + Technical writing, engineering, document control, work instruction. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. + Proficient computer skills. + Ability to work with all levels of employees to help them understand the documentation. Work Environment The role involves working closely with various teams and requires strong collaborative efforts. The work environment is dynamic and requires regular updates to documentation based on feedback and product changes. You will be expected to present developed processes and procedures to staff members to ensure consistent operations.
