Our client, a wholesale accessories company, is seeking a Packaging Designer to join their team in NYC!
Base pay range
$55,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr
Responsibilities:
- Design unique and visually appealing packaging for an array of products.
- Develop engaging and informative product copy that highlights key features and benefits, ensuring the value of the product is clearly communicated.
- Ensure all packaging designs are in line with our brand guidelines and accurately reflect our brand identity and values.
- Keep up with industry trends, competitor packaging, and consumer preferences to design packaging that stands out on the shelf.
- Create dielines and templates for packaging production, ensuring precise sizing and layout.
- Evaluate and approve packaging proofs and prototypes to guarantee accuracy and quality before production.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Packaging Design, or a related field.
- Experience within the accessories field preferred.
- Skilled in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong ability to create compelling and concise product descriptions.
- Familiarity with printing processes and materials.
- Highly meticulous with a sharp eye for aesthetics.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced setting and meeting deadlines consistently.
