We are seeking a Sr Principal Marketing Strategist to join our Bioseparations Portfolio to drive strategic marketing initiatives, commercial alignment, and long-term growth strategies. This senior role will directly report to the Portfolio Owner of Bioseparations to provide critical leadership to continue strengthening our market position, drive cross-functional collaboration, and execute on critical paths to sustained growth. The successful candidate will be a key architect of our strategic vision, lead high-visibility initiatives across departments, and shape the future of Bioseparations by pushing the boundaries of the use of Waters chemical and biological tools for the purification, characterization and quantification of biomolecules. Responsibilities Develop and implement portfolio marketing strategies that align with corporate objectives and drive market share growth. Act as a key advisor on aspects of commercial leadership inclusive of reporting on market trends, aligning product roadmaps, and delivering on long range revenue goals. Serve as the point person for interdepartmental strategic marketing initiatives working across other business units and organizations to drive portfolio synergies. Analyze industry trends, customer insights, and competitive landscapes to shape data-driven commercial strategies. Assist our biopharma and genetic medicine consumables product management teams with high priority go-to-market strategies, executive and investor-level messaging, and commercial execution plans. Develop executive-level insights, reports, and strategic recommendations. Oversee high impact strategic partnerships and internal investment projects. Qualifications Advanced degree with 10+ years in strategic marketing, product management, or commercial strategy, preferably in bioseparations, biopharma, or life sciences. Proven track record of building and executing long-range marketing strategies that drive business growth. Strong ability to influence, lead, and align teams across multiple departments to drive strategic initiatives. Deep understanding of bioprocessing, chromatography, and bioseparations trends, with experience in customer-centric marketing approaches. Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information and present clear, actionable insights to senior leadership.
