Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility) Type: Full-Time Experience: 8+ Years in Marketing (Mid-Market/Enterprise SaaS Marketing Preferred) Job Summary As Village’s first Head of Marketing, you’ll architect and execute a global GTM strategy that positions OM1 as the de facto operating system for enterprise AI. This role requires equal parts strategic vision and hands-on execution: you’ll build our marketing engine from the ground up, manage a $MM+ budget, lead in-house and external teams, and personally drive high-impact campaigns. Success requires blending technical depth (you’ll market a technically complex product in simple terms to VP & C-Level) with creative demand-gen tactics to own “enterprise AI & search” for mid-market and enterprise SaaS companies. Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Leadership
Develop Village’s 0→1 marketing playbook: Define ICPs, messaging hierarchy, and competitive positioning against incumbents (e.g., Glean, Guru, Sana) and foundational model providers (OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic) Build and lead a lean team (hire 2–3 FTEs in Year 1); manage external agencies Own a $MM+ annual budget, allocating across ABM, SEO, and product-led growth Demand Generation
Architect multi-channel campaigns targeting mid-market and enterprise IT buyers (CTOs, CIOs), GTM leaders (CROs, CMOs), and other executives (COOs, CEOs) Partner with Sales to design ABM plays for mid-market and large enterprise accounts; leverage OM1’s AI to personalize outreach at scale Scale content marketing featuring Village’s AI automating workflows (e.g., “Watch OM1 write a PRD”) Product Marketing
Translate technical capabilities (Organizational Memory, autonomous agents) into ROI-driven narratives Create battlecards, case studies, and demo scripts highlighting early client success stories Brand & Comms
Position Village as the thought leader in “Enterprise AI that works” via earned media (WSJ, CIO Magazine) and owned channels Spearhead viral campaigns leveraging OM1’s autonomous task execution (e.g., “AI vs. Human”) Partner with HR to build employer branding that attracts top AI/ML talent Requirements
Proven Scale Player: 8+ years scaling marketing organizations (B2B SaaS marketing preferred) Full-Stack Marketer: Expertise in PLG motions, technical product launches, and enterprise ABM Martech Fluency: 6Sense, HubSpot, Looker, and AI-powered tools Metrics Obsession: Track record of driving 3x+ pipeline growth and large CAC efficiency gains Leadership DNA: Built/managed large teams; thrives with constraints Ownership: relentless owner’s mentality Competitive: highly competitive, self-motivated Preferred Qualifications
Experience marketing to both technical (CTO) and business (CEO) buyers in $50k+ ACV deals 2+ years in AI/ML Early-stage startup experience (Seed to Series B) Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $160k–$220k Equity: 0.15%–0.3% Performance Bonus: 20%+ of base for hitting pipeline targets Benefits: Healthcare coverage, 401(k), PTO Why Village?
