**SERVICE WRITER NEEDED**
For Daugherty’s Body Shop
and Service Center
Located in Taylorsville Kentucky
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Service Writer to join
our team.
As a Service Writer, you will be responsible for effectively
communicating with customers to determine their automotive service needs
and ensuring a smooth workflow in our service department.
**Responsibilities:**
- - Greet customers and ascertain what each customer needs.
- - Clearly explain information about the services available.
- - Write service orders and descriptions of problems and repairs.
- - Maintain customer records by recording service and repairs.
- - Communicate effectively with customers and service staff to ensure timely completion of repairs.
- - Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
- - Scheduling appointments.
**Requirements:**
- Must have Auto Service Industry experience
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
- Proficiency with computer systems and software.
