JOB ROLE AND SUMMARY
Job Title: Guitar/Bass Guitar Instructor
Reports to: Program Coordinator
Direct Reports: N/A
Classification: Part Time, Flexible schedule, In-Person, Remote or Hybrid

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and teach private lessons ranging from 30 min to 1 hr weekly
- Monitor and record the progress of each student
- Attend mandatory staff meetings and trainings
- Foster an engaging and inspiring learning environment which focuses on the whole being of the student
- Must be a legal resident of MN
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in music or equivalent experience
- Passion for teaching & commitment to continuing development of teaching skills
- Understanding of multiple musical styles
- Excellent technique and proficiency in performance
- Strong interest in working with diverse socioeconomic groups
- Knowledge of cultural competency and ability to adapt to ensure inclusive participation
COMPENSATION
- $26-32 Per Hour
- Employee status w/ taxes withheld
