Job Title: Ultrasound Technician - General Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required; must be an experienced traveler, not for first-time travelers License: VA License or proof of compact license in hand Certifications: ARDMS, ARDMS AB General Ultrasound Must-Have: Level II trauma center experience; supervisory reference; specialty experience within the last year Job Description: • Perform general ultrasound for an acute care facility including inpatient, ED, and outpatient procedures. • Conduct para/thora/deep tissue procedures. • Work assigned call schedule: 1 day per week from 8:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and 1 weekend every 4-5 weeks from Friday 8:30 p.m. until Monday 6:00 a.m. • Scheduled Saturday shift from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. every 5-6 weeks. • Participate in orientation for 16 hours. • Floating may be requested based on facility needs. • Provide one supervisory reference for submission; two required for compliance. • Keep requested time off to a minimum during the assignment. • Participate in scheduled interviews with all managers. • COVID-19 vaccine not required; Flu vaccine status unknown. Please note: This is a travel position, and candidates have the option to choose between travel assignments or per diem contracts. Local candidate applications will be accepted at the same base rate.
