Job Duties Include: Lead the design process from concept to production, ensuring the creation of stylish, age-appropriate pieces that align with brand identity and market trends Analyze trends by researching market shifts, consumer preferences, and competitor strategies to develop innovative and trend-driven designs Manage and mentor a team of two Designers and an Associate Designer, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and professional growth Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment on design direction, timelines, and brand objectives Oversee quality and fit to ensure designs meet brand standards, production feasibility, and overall market expectations
Job Qualifications Include: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field 5+ years in children’s apparel design, with a strong emphasis on sizes 2-10 Experience in Girls’ apparel is preferred Proven ability to lead and develop a creative team, inspiring innovation, and excellence Strong skills in sketching, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and trend forecasting Deep understanding of current fashion trends, consumer behavior, and the competitive landscape in children’s apparel Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to clearly present design concepts and strategies
Salary: $110k - $115k annually
