Senior Director, Marketing
will lead strategic marketing activities for A&M’s Corporate Performance Improvement (CPI) business unit. This role will play a key role driving CPI’s collections and market growth. They will collaborate with CPI’s leadership, leadership of Solution / Industry groups, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment with overall Firm goals and objectives. This role will report to CPI’s Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with the CPI leadership team. They will have one direct report and will coordinate across a broader team of 15+ leaders and support resources. Key responsibilities include: Marketing strategy : Conduct market and competitor analysis to develop understanding of competitive landscape, CPI’s position, and market opportunities; provide actionable insights to CPI leadership; develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and priorities aligned with business goals. Client engagement : Develop deep understanding of client needs and tailor marketing approaches accordingly; develop programs for expanding reach with existing clients in addition to new clients. Marketing channels : Use and optimize marketing channels (events, social, web search, email, mail, etc.) to reach potential clients and drive brand awareness. Sales enablement : Provide best practices and tools to support pitch teams; oversee and/or provide requirements to offshore pitch development team. Brand management : Actively manage CPI’s online presence and public image to build and maintain a positive brand perception; oversee any public relations and media engagement. Thought leadership : Coordinate and promote thought leadership pieces across CPI Solution / Industry groups, working with S/I leads, MDs, and other leaders. Internal alignment : Maintain close coordination and alignment across CPI Solution / Industry groups; work closely with Corporate Marketing team to maintain alignment with overall A&M goals; develop relationships with other BU Marketing leaders and mutually share best practices. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 10-15 years experience in professional services marketing, with consulting industry experience preferred; demonstrated record of building and leading all areas of marketing, including strategic planning, analytics, channel management, client relationship management, branding, marketing communications, and marketing tools. Experience working with large corporates. Strong business acumen, financial, and analytical skills; the ability to develop short- and long-term marketing plans from broadly stated objectives. Results focus, entrepreneurial spirit, and “can do” attitude with willingness to roll up your sleeves when necessary. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively build relationships and manage stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Exceptionally strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills, with ability to drive consensus and lead via influence vs. direct control. An undergraduate degree is required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. The salary range for this role is $175,000-$250,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
