Mintons Academy of Music, established in 2002, has successfully taught over 2,500 students and produced numerous Loudoun County all-district winners. Located in Ashburn, we offer private one-on-one lessons across various instruments including piano, guitar, drums, voice, violin, viola, cello, flute, and clarinet. Our academy also provides group performance classes in music, drama, and art. Our bi-yearly recitals are held in our on-site 80-seat theater, providing comfortable and enjoyable performance experiences. Our experienced teachers, all holding university degrees, are dedicated to meeting the needs of new students in the Ashburn area.

Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role located in Ashburn, VA, for a Music Teacher. The Music Teacher will be responsible for providing private one-on-one music lessons, preparing students for performances, and teaching music theory. Daily tasks will include creating lesson plans, tracking student progress, and organizing recitals.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Music Theory and Music Education
• Proficiency in Music Performance
• Experience teachers for various musical instruments (e.g., guitar, drums, voice, violin, viola, cello, flute, clarinet)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree in Music or related field
