The Prime Video Sports team is seeking an Art Director to lead the development of creative marketing campaigns for our subscription add-on sports channels in the US. As the Art Director, you will deliver bar-raising designs and create marketing assets including Key Art, templates, and guidelines that influence internal and external partner teams.
In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders from Creative, Marketing, Project Management, Strategy, Media, PR, Production to Operation teams to deliver best-in-class sports marketing content that resonates with diverse fans and audiences.
The ideal candidate is a highly-collaborative creative leader with a good understanding of brand and entertainment marketing, strategic and creative at equal measure. You should possess strong writing and design sensibilities, and experience with both AV/film and digital media. As a leader within our quickly-growing, fast-paced business, you will need to be an owner of your work and thrive in a frequently ambiguous environment. Sports by nature are ever-evolving and unpredictable, and to be successful in this role, a candidate must be able to be nimble and responsive when opportunities or challenges arise.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of creative experience in advertising agencies or in-house creative teams.
- An online portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, art direction, and design skills.
- Proficiency with industry design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage ambiguity, work autonomously, and multi-task.
- Excellent verbal, written, and storytelling skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Design key art, templates, guidelines, and visual systems for Prime Video sports channels creative to be utilized by global teams and partners.
- Collaborate with copywriters, designers, and marketers to create customer-focused creative solutions.
- Lead creative development independently and work with internal teams and external agencies.
- Provide creative thinking to define our emerging sports brand while solving partner needs.
- Ideate and execute for digital, out-of-home, and social marketing touchpoints.
- Manage multiple projects while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Present ideas and concepts to teams and external partners.
