Key job responsibilities As a Senior UX Designer for WWGST GRAISE, you will solve pervasive painpoints to create next generation in store shopping solutions that bridge online and in-store physical experiences. You will work side-by-side with product managers, researchers, engineers, science, industrial designers, and store designers to give form to early ideas, before bringing them to the finish line. The role requires a passion for understanding customer needs, and thinking big across digital and physical modalities. You will:
Collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to arrive at simple and intuitive customer-focused solutions. Apply the right creative process and deliverables at the level of fidelity required for problem at hand. Partner with UX research to conduct generative and evaluative research studies. Dive deep on customer pain-points, and triangulate inputs (quantitative and qualitative data, user and stakeholder feedback, business and technical constraints) to inform and iterate design solutions. Work creatively around difficult business and technical constraints to maintain a high customer experience bar. Define user interactions, information architecture, and visual language, to introduce improved design patterns. Communicate complex design concepts and decisions, clearly and persuasively, to different audiences.
About the team You will be part of a team of passionate designers, product managers, UX researchers, applied scientists, and engineers who are delivering in store grocery experiences that shoppers love. We are curious and motivated to be a part of an ambitious program that combines deep user understanding with innovative thinking to reinvent physical grocery. Our team is located across Seattle, WA and the Boston MetroWest area - Hudson, MA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 8+ years of design experience - Have an available online portfolio - Expert user of design and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, InVision, etc.) PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with UX design of complex workflows - Experience building and maintaining Design Systems in Figma or similar tool

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
