Come build the future of sports shopping as a Senior Product Marketing Manager on Amazon’s Licensed Sports team, where you will be inspired working alongside best-in-class inventors, innovators, and sports fans. Amazon Licensed Sports is building the future of sports shopping and working to bring fans the best customer experience possible. The Licensed Sports team is responsible for the customer experience, retail partnerships, selection expansion, and fan engagement and marketing strategies across professional leagues like the NFL, NBA, WNBA, and NHL, as well as collegiate properties. The Licensed Sports team is a fast growing, and strategically imperative business within Amazon Stores, and we’re looking for a dynamic and results-oriented leader to join our team.
As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive fan engagement and success in our program. You will be responsible for positioning, messaging, and driving awareness of our licensed sports business during pivotal sporting event moments, ensuring they are effectively communicated and embraced. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, analytics, and other retail marketing teams to drive fan engagement and business growth by building and executing a seasonal sporting event playbook. Additionally, you will define key performance indicators, track the success of marketing initiatives, and use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve outcomes.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Experience creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Experience working in, or a strong passion for, the business of sports
