As a SCAD professor, you will equip students with the expertise and fluency to employ theory, research, function, culture, material, and technology in the design of interior spaces. With enthusiasm and a commitment to excellence, you will motivate students as they learn to work creatively and critically to design meaningful and memorable solutions for a range of users, clients, and project types. You will also work with an engaging and diverse international student body and faculty in a supportive community environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong professional portfolio as well as teaching experience in conceptual design through design development and construction documents, space planning, FF&E, sustainability, materials, regulatory compliance, and oral and visual presentation. The candidate should also have knowledge of and experience with current and emerging industry software and technologies. Minimum Qualifications : - M.F.A. or its equivalent in interior design or related field - Portfolio of professional design work - University-level teaching experience preferred - National Council for Interior Design Qualification certification preferred Certificates, licenses and registrations:
