The website design/development manager will oversee website functionality, evaluate website performance, and develop, maintain, and update content for all Falcons Beyond websites. Working alongside the marketing team, the website design/development manager will ensure all websites are up to date and implement strategies to improve website visitors experience. To ensure success, the website design/development manager must be highly proficient in WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, SEO, Google Marketing Platform, Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Web-Proxy, and Security Audits. Top candidates will be comfortable troubleshooting the website and constantly improving the User Experience (UX) of the website.
Please Note: This job is based in our office in Orlando, Florida. Applicants must either live in the area or be willing to move to Central Florida and work from the office daily.
Essential Functions:
Planning, updating, managing, monitoring, and upgrading current and future websites. Current websites include; falconsbeyond.com| falconscreativegroup.com | falconsattractions.com | aoa.katmandurealms.com | https://shop.falconsbeyond.com/.Working with the marketing team to develop new websites and custom pages as needed.Ensuring website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans, updates, and maintenance.Responding to and troubleshooting all website issues.Managing website content projects including but not limited to language translations, ADA compliance and the overall user experience.Identifying and responding to all website security breaches.Ensuring that the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures.Updating HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript regularly.Improving the user experience of the website regularly.Working closely with the companys marketing team to devise online marketing strategies to grow subscriber base and increase web traffic metrics.Collaborating with key staff and management to ensure that the website aligns with brand strategy and meets the organizations standards.Ensuring full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations.Keeping up to date with industry best practices, SEO updates, and monitoring competitor websites.Lead tracking and analysis of user and engagement data to understand our visitors.Prepare web analytics reports and provide summaries, insights, and suggestions to drive goals.General content administration within the content management system to maintain system health and ease of maintenance.Job Qualifications and Requirements:
The candidate must have excellent project management, organization, and communication skills for managing a high volume of content and development projects.Must have experience with WordPress and Cloudflare.Solid knowledge of web best practices, including UX, design, privacy, optimization, SEO, and ADA and GDPR compliance.Highly proficient in HTML, XHTML, PHP, CSS, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, Bootstrap, ACF, JavaScript, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, and mySQL.Solid knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, and Semrush.Experience working with internal IT teams and processes as well as external marketing agencies.Experience with project/issue tracking tools (JIRA, Teams, etc.).Well-versed in UX fundamentals and responsive web design.Experience managing large multi-lingual corporate websites.Experience optimizing a website for B2C and B2B companies with a proven record of driving conversions.Must have a BS degree in computer science, information technology, web design, or another related field. Experience may be substituted for education: 4 years work experience.Must possess a valid drivers license.Travel may be required.Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.Will not require Falcons Beyond to commence (sponsor) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).
