Content Studio New York is an award-winning content marketing company with roots in publishing. We are seeking a Media Sales Representative to become an integral part of our team! You should be familiar with digital marketing and media sales and apply that knowledge to selling Content Studio's integrated products, including New York By Rail to existing and new clients. New York By Rail products include an annual award-winning print magazine (https://bit.ly/4b0xBBF), NewYorkByRail.com, a weekly e-newsletter, blogs and social media.
Knowledge of travel and tourism marketing is helpful as that represents a good portion of our current business.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect from existing database as well as new business sources
- Utilize telemarketing skills to generate qualified prospects
- Help develop creative promotional materials that will generate sales leads
- Educate prospects and clients about company products and services
- Prepare for in-person and virtual sales calls.
- Reach agreed upon monthly sales targets
- Close and follow up on sales servicing
- Work with clients to achieve marketing objectives
- Network and build relationships with new and existing client base
- Document all activity within an existing CRM system and utilize integrated marketing tools to faciliate sales
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10-years experience in digital and/or media sales
- Self-starter that can take direction and run with it
- Strong negotiation skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to build rapport with clients
