Marketing Operations Manager
to join the Marketing Operations - Campaigns team, ideally in our Minneapolis, MN office and work a flex schedule with 2-3 days in the office. This role will primarily serve our AMER Field Marketing team, acting as a marketing automation advisor and business partner, while also collaborating cross-functionally with our extended GTM teams. Responsibilities include driving automation improvements, project management, campaign execution, and continuous optimization of campaigns using Marketo and other marketing technology.
Your Impact
Act as a marketing automation advisor and business partner, providing guidance to marketers on campaign best practices, automation workflows, and campaign optimization to drive pipeline impact
Own the end-to-end campaign operations process, from reviewing marketing requests, to executing workflows, and performing Campaign Retrospective Debriefs
Analyze marketing metrics (ex: open-to-click rates) to identify trends, experiment with campaigns, and make data-driven recommendations for campaign optimization
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, and other GTM teams to ensure campaign strategies align with broader business objectives
Be a driver of innovation, and guiding teams through change as our MOPs practices evolve with the needs of the business
QA, test, and troubleshoot automation issues as they arise, ensuring seamless execution and a high standard of quality
Clearly communicate with internal partners to ensure alignment on requirements, deliverables, and timelines
Maintain and enhance MOPs/Campaign Ops documentation to support scalability and knowledge sharing
Stay informed of Marketing Ops best practices and emerging trends, applying them to improve campaign effectiveness and business impact
Your Qualifications:
5+ years of experience using marketing automation platforms (such as Marketo)
5+ years working with other marketing technology (such as Salesforce, Demandbase One, Adobe tools, and more)
5+ years working with Excel/Sheets, Word, Powerpoint, etc.
3+ years experience in a project management position
Experience working with cross-functional teams
A customer service attitude with a client-centric approach to working with stakeholders
Strong project management and timeline management skills
Self-driven problem solver with an "ownership" mindset, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong communicator with the ability to clearly articulate findings and recommendations to various audience types both verbally and in written or presentation form (from technical members to mid-level management)
Flexibility and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Preferred Skills
You have a strong understanding of the buyer's journey, marketing attribution, and channel tracking
You have basic to intermediate experience with HTML and CSS
You are a certified user of any marketing automation platform
You have experience with building reports and dashboards in Salesforce
You have consulting experience
