We are looking for a fun, positive, and motivated individual to grow with a small, yet rapidly growing division. We are hiring an Associate Director for CM's newest division, Voices. While audiences love brands, they trust their favorite voices the most. We partner brands with trusted voices to tell their stories.
Location: Los Angeles, Portland or Seattle - this role will be hybrid and does require travel within the US. Must be open to travel (50%).
The Associate Director will report to the Director of Voices.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Associate Director will have an in-depth knowledge of social media trends, influencer culture, and working within paid media. They will collaborate with the Creative Studio to build influencer-led content programs, media and brand strategies as well as one-off projects. They will work directly with our influencers, brand clients, and the entire internal team to help build and nurture relationships.
Project Management // 50%
- Communication with talent
- Onboarding talent to projects
- Engagement calls
- Supporting the Creative Studio team with Talent requests or needs
- Manage and work closely with the coordinators to execute projects and prioritization
- Project management for all day-to-day influencer account management responsibilities; including but not limited to negotiations, contracts, content curation, scheduling, and communications management
- Overseeing the Database that keeps all our creator talent
Business Development and Media Management // 20%
- Cultivate and own relationships with media partners
- Stay up to date with media trends and handle all paid media transactions
- Strategically plan and report paid media and boosting programs around influencers
- Work with CM leadership on pitches to represent the Voices product and capabilities
Resourcing and Finding nuanced creators // 30%
- Sourcing talent for specific creative needs
- Story mining
- Management of Freelance Story miners
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help design and build the Voices department approach on best practices in communication and management of talent
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborate with the Creative Team on ideation for framework and concepts for creator, maker, and influencer-focused work
- Be an ambassador between the creative studio, production, and talent making sure that we remain equitable across each project
- Meet and curate relationships with Content Creators for future partnerships
- Update the internal database with new creatives we have sourced for each project
- Stay up-to-date on social media platforms and trends
- Help contract and negotiate talent fees
- Brief talent into each project
- Source influencer and maker talent in collaboration with casting partners
- Coordinate and schedule engagement calls with creators
- Oversee paid media programs and report learnings to clients
