Salary Range: $70,618 - $83,080
FLSA Status: Exempt
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Summary
The Huffington Department of Education, Innovation, and Technology's Center for Teaching and eLearning (CTeL) is seeking an energetic, self-starting Multimedia eLearning Designer (Broadcast, Videography, and Photography Associate) to produce and oversee the design and production of eLearning modules/courses, still and animated motion graphics including intros, outros, lower thirds, etc. to enhance video packages, and review video scripts and other multimedia related content, which may include internal news stories and briefs, announcement emails, and blog posts.
Job Duties
- Conceptualizes, produces, and edits video content while following established College guidelines.
- Edits videos and makes video conversions for digital delivery.
- Collaborates with marketing and communication teams to create video content in support of the College's marketing and communication efforts.
- Records and edits media for the College's events and podcasts.
- Maintains records of completed video projects.
- Maintains media related equipment, facilities, and supplies.
- Participates in special projects as needed.
- Creates and executes concepts, layouts, and the production of finished files for print and interactive applications.
- Resizes and re-purposes established advertising assets in multiple configurations and sizes.
- Develops templated solutions to recurring project requests, including interactive and online applications.
- Designs, develops, and maintains WordPress websites with a focus on functionality and user experience.
- Creates dynamic animations and motion graphics for various digital platforms.
- Develops and edits video content for marketing campaigns, social media, events, and presentations.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expert-level skills in Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia, Vyond, and Adobe Creative Cloud including After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom, InDesign and Animate skills a plus.
- Experience in video and audio production and editing, with the ability to incorporate these elements seamlessly into eLearning content.
- Proficiency in creating 3D models using software like Cinema 4D, Blender, 3ds Max, or Maya is strongly preferred, with the ability to integrate these into multimedia projects.
- Strong project management and multitasking skills, with the capability to develop multiple lessons simultaneously while maintaining high quality and meeting deadlines.
- Must have excellent collaboration skills, working effectively with Instructional Designers, Project Managers, QA/QC, and other team members to bring storyboards and designs to life with exceptional visual appeal.
- Must be able to provide an outstanding portfolio of eLearning samples demonstrating expertise in multimedia-rich, interactive training modules.
- Familiarity in working photography, and animation a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- An ability to meet deadlines, be detail oriented, prioritize work, and handle multiple projects simultaneously, and understand and follow directions.
