Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join The UVA Dine team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of visual communication principles and a passion for creating compelling designs across various platforms. You will collaborate with our marketing team to develop engaging visuals that enhance our brand and drive results.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and create visually appealing graphics for various platforms, including websites, social media, marketing materials, presentations, and product packaging.
• Develop and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all visual communications.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
• Conceptualize and create visual concepts that align with brand strategy and marketing objectives.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design.
• Prepare and present design concepts to stakeholders for review and approval.
• Manage and organize digital assets.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout principles.
• Experience with web design and user interface (UI) design is a plus.
• Portfolio showcasing a strong understanding of visual communication and design principles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in motion graphics or video editing is a plus.
