FXCollaborative is an established architectural, interior design, planning, and urban design firm based in Brooklyn, NY. The practice encompasses corporate, civic, cultural, educational, transportation, residential, hospitality, office, retail, and mixed-use projects on a variety of scales. We are currently seeking a Designer with 3-5 years of experience. Candidates must be self-motivated and enjoy working collaboratively with team members and consultant teams with a willingness to learn. Position Responsibilities: Strong conceptual design ability and advanced graphic representation skills. Work on programming research, zoning research, massing, orientation studies & design studies. Prepare presentation drawings representing design intent. Render design ideas in forms of scale drawings, 3-D models, sketches, illustrations, and physical models. Research materials, products and furnishings based on project design goals. With guidance, work on construction documents and coordinate review of shop drawings during construction phase. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree required. 3-5 years of post-graduation experience required. Able to prioritize and multi-task. Must be proactive, detail-oriented and a self-starter. Must be hardworking and a team player. Must have excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Candidate should be proficient with Rhino, Grasshopper, AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, Adobe Graphics Suite, and other related design software. #J-18808-Ljbffr
