The Athletics Department is dedicated to excellence in collegiate sports, building a modern model of intercollegiate athletics fostering a culture of integrity, innovation, and student-athlete success. The Videographer will participate as a member of The University of Arizona Athletics Creative Services team. The Videographer will develop and create video content for social media, recruiting, in-venue videoboards, revenue generation, marketing, coaches shows, interviews with players/coaches/staff, story packages, and additional branding and revenue generation utilization. The Videographer will also work live Arizona Athletics events and remote productions, working collaboratively with members of other departments, ensuring highest standards of production are met.This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, and travel as needed.Outstanding UA benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance plans; life insurance and disability programs; paid vacation, sick leave, and holidays; UA/ASU/NAU tuition reduction for the employee and qualified family members; retirement plans; access to UA recreation and cultural activities; and more!Duties & Responsibilities:Videotapes live sporting events for production using video camera equipment; makes technical decisions regarding such elements as appropriate lighting, shooting angle, placement and type of microphone; receives explicit instructions regarding assignment.Videotapes additional team functions including meetings, practices, and community service events.Responsible for providing opportunities to create athletic department social media content for various athletic teams.Responsible for technical equipment set up to ensure system reliability.Edits and assembles final visual/audio program material; ensures consistency and relevancy to production; monitors technical quality of end product.Oversee digital communication and the creation, production, and marketing communications to all constituents.Provides various forms of digital communication to fans, student-athletes, and staff.Oversee design fundamentals taking projects from conception, design, and final project.Works with digital editing systems and photography editing systems.Conceptualize and create video board content for in-venue video boards such as headshots, crowd prompts, and hype videos.Creates multimedia and graphic projects requiring the use of multimedia technology and graphic design concepts in videography.Operates cameras and video cameras to perform job duties.Support day-to-day operations in logging and archiving of footage.Ensure media storage inventory standards are maintained and followed.Additional duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of field production equipment including, but not limited to, cinema-style and DSLR cameras, lighting, and audio.Knowledge and experience with Adobe Creative Suite required, specifically Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects.Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and well-organized.Strong verbal and organizational skills with the ability to communicate effectively.Ability to work successfully as part of a team as well as independently.Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions.Knowledge of position related NCAA and Big 12 rules and compliance.Demonstrated organizational skills, including the ability to plan, establish priorities and successfully manage multiple priority projects.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all organizational levels, and project a positive, professional attitude.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning attained through professional level experience required.Three years of relevant work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in shooting live athletic events.Experience with editing equipment.FLSA:
