Enjoy respect and recognition for your contributions as we continue to innovate!ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, other duties may be assigned.•Designs and develops layouts for mechanical and electrical systems.•Assists in the production of detailed mechanical drawing and schematics in SolidWorks.•Creates and/or modifies designs for boilers and pressure vessels to meet customer requirements.•Develops drawings and Bill of Materials.•Works with other designers, code inspectors, and quality assurance personnel involved in designing products.•Produce designs which comply with engineering principles, ASME and NEC code, safety, and customer requirements, as well as company standards.•Assist other departments, such as marketing, in developing new products or options.•Assist manufacturing by helping to improve processes, reduce scrap and improve productivity.The above are considered essential duties and are illustrative of those job tasks, which are fundamental. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Education and Experience:•2-Yr Associate's Degree or Technical College Certificate•2 to 5 years of mechanical designer experience•2 years SolidWorks experience preferred.•Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude•Pressure vessel or boiler industry experience a plus.•Experience with boilers, valve sizing, pump sizing.•Experience with boiler controls and controls methodology.•Experience with schematics and Ladder logic.•Ability to read all applicable drawings, including mechanical, electrical schematics and instrumentation.
