Overview
The Communication Studies Department at Indiana University South Bend invites applications for adjunct (part-time) teaching positions in the undergraduate program. A qualified individual can teach up to two of our three-credit courses per semester. We are seeking qualified instructors to teach our SPCH S-121 Public Speaking course.
IU South Bend is the third largest campus in the Indiana University system and serves the north central Indiana community. The Public Speaking course provides students with the opportunity to enhance their public speaking and communication skills campus-wide as this course fulfills the required General Education Oral Communication requirement. The Communication Studies Department faculty strive to expand students' understanding and skills in communication areas such as presentation, ethics, listening, critical thinking, collaboration, non-verbal communication, and professionalism.
If you have a disability and need assistance with an application, special arrangements can be made to accommodate most needs by contacting Academic Affairs at: 574-520-4183.
