POSITION SUMMARY
The Content Strategist will craft compelling, strategic, and engaging content that strengthens our brand, connects with our members, and drives business objectives. This role blends brand storytelling, digital marketing strategy, and creative copywriting. As a key player in the Marketing Team, this role requires both long-form and short-form writing expertise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creative Copywriting & Messaging: Develops engaging, pithy, and strategic copy for marketing campaigns.
- Website Copywriting & Optimization: Reviews and improves website content to enhance clarity and engagement.
- Financial Education Content: Simplifies complex financial topics into engaging content for members.
- Content Strategy & Brand Voice: Shapes and maintains a consistent brand voice.
- Omnichannel Content Development: Adapts messaging for different marketing channels.
- Campaign & Ad Copywriting: Crafts high-converting advertising copy.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Works closely with designers and stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
- Deep understanding of brand voice with the ability to craft concise messaging.
- Creative thinker, skilled storyteller, and strategic communicator.
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts into simple messaging.
- Proficiency in SEO writing and digital marketing best practices.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in copywriting or content strategy.
- Experience in financial services is a plus.
PORTFOLIO REQUIREMENT
Must submit a portfolio showcasing a range of writing samples.
WORK ARRANGEMENT: The working arrangement for this position is hybrid.
