Position Description The NASB team is responsible for developing and delivering best-in-class digital experiences to consumers, operating a distribution platform that connects the TV and mobile content ecosystems, and providing unique solutions to advertising clients through its proprietary company Ads platform. The Strategy, Planning, & Analytics group within the NASB team is looking for a Marketing Intelligence Analyst to provide critical market insights around CTV/digital advertising and media industries to inform strategic direction for the business. This role will be responsible for managing competitive intelligence vendor programs that provide intel for the company Ads business, creating reports and presentations that leverage the vendor intel to help inform strategic initiatives, and maintaining communications with Sales teams and executive leadership. The Marketing Intelligence Analyst will support executive leadership and Sales teams to identify and track key trends, competitors, and opportunities to deliver in-depth insight into the competitive market. Other responsibilities include maintaining all competitive intelligence vendor program management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics, and budget. The Competitive Intelligence Analyst will report into the Sr. Manager of Competitive Intelligence. Responsibilities: Manage the competitive intelligence vendor relationship and projects associated with those programs. Analyze vendor intel and research results to deliver regular reporting and presentations of key insights. Establish and maintain communication across business units or from the vendor team to the organization. Maintain the storage and retrieval of all vendor program data and business metrics. Set up project and work breakdown structures. Track vendor program progress and ensure related ongoing projects are completed against set deadlines. Conduct ad hoc data retrieval and analysis in support of business initiatives.
Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge and familiarity of CTV/digital media, ad tech, ad sales, and new media trends. Ability to analyze qualitative research and deliver insightful reporting and strategic presentations is required. Ability to also analyze quantitative data and develop reporting structures is preferred. Comfortable working independently, detail-orientated, with strong time management skills. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
Education/Experience: BA/BS required. 4+ years of experience in industry research, management consulting, competitive analysis, or other relevant fields. Experience working in advertising/ad tech or with ad sales teams is preferred. Experience managing research vendor relationships is preferred. Mastery of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required. Proficiency in analytics software and tools is preferred.
