We're looking for an enthusiastic team player with a strong eye for detail and a passion for pushing creative boundaries. Ideal candidates will have a foundation in apparel design, with experience in activewear or DTC being a plus. If you're organized, hands-on, and ready to contribute to every stage of the design process, we'd love to meet you.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist in creation of seasonal colored BOMs for existing styles
- Create and manage seasonal line sheets
- Update sketches and CADs as changes occur in the line
- Assist in reviewing/approving incoming strike-offs, lab dips, and all design related submits
- Organize and maintain a neat and easily accessible materials and sample library
- Participate in research of tear sheets, mood images, trends, prints, colors, silhouettes, and innovative ideas
- Assist in creating inspiring design presentations each season
- Sketch detailed flats in Illustrator
- Attend all fittings and partner with PD/Technical team on all sketch and BOM updates
- Manage care label, tear label and hang tag information and updates
- Create, assist, and complete all design handoffs/tech packs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process
- Support Design Director and day to day of all design functions
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design is a plus
- Experience: 1-2 years
- High proficiency in Illustrator is required
- Self-motivated and ability to thrive in fast paced environment
- PLM experience a plus
- Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well with multiple team members with a positive team player attitude
- Strong communication and follow-up skills
- Passion for premium, functional product and the desire to forge a path as a market leader in new product concepts.
