Space Theory, Henrybuilt’s next-gen performance kitchen system company, is seeking a self motivated professional to support the growth of Space Theory’s business in the New York area.
Henrybuilt is the designer and manufacturer of the first American kitchen system. Founded in Seattle in 2001, Henrybuilt is now part of a group of four synergistic companies that are growing rapidly - Henrybuilt, Space Theory, Symbolic Frameworks and Untapped.. Space Theory leverages the foundation of Henrybuilt and utilizes proprietary design software to make designing high-quality, functionally sophisticated kitchens simpler, faster and more accessible. The Studio Assistant will be responsible for supporting our New York team in creating an outstanding client experience.

Based out of Space Theory’s new Stable Building studio in Brooklyn, the Studio Assistant will:
Host and educate visitors about Space Theory and how we are different - including Saturdays from 10 - 6.
Ensure the experience of visiting our studio feels sophisticated, elegant, engaging, and aligned with a premium brand.
Assist our Sales Design and Engineering teams with drawing sets and preparing files for production.
Assist the Engineering team with maintaining product standards
Provide installation support to homeowners, installers, and architects - answer questions and resolve issues
Assist with the day-to-day facility needs including sample inventory, propping, stocking, and facility maintenance.
Success in this role requires:
1-3 years of experience in residential design or equivalent field. Kitchen Design experience is a plus.
Experience interacting with design-minded homeowners and industry professionals, communicating a high level of design thinking and sensibility
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design tools.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google suite, and related software.
Bachelor's degree in architecture, interior design or industrial design is a plus
High performing team members often transition to Sales|Design or Engineering roles within 6 - 12 months.
