24 Seven is partnering with a local company based in Portland, OR to help them find a Web Designer to join their team in this hybrid position. This is a 16 month contract starting late February through June of next year working 2-3 days/week onsite in Portland. will have at least 4 years of relevant work experience and have strong knowledge in ADA accessibility standards. We are seeking a Web Designer with a strong focus on accessibility to join our client's team. This contract role requires 4 years of relevant experience, particularly in ADA compliance and implementing accessibility standards on websites. This role is ideal for a Web Designer who understands code but focuses on the design side, ensuring accessibility and usability for all users. Key Responsibilities : Ensure web designs comply with ADA accessibility standards Collaborate with the greater team to enhance website usability Work within HTML and CSS, handling several hundred pages Apply UX design principles to create new, accessible web designs Understand and work with raw HTML, but not in a developer role Qualifications: 4+ years of web design experience Strong understanding of ADA compliance and accessibility Experience with HTML and CSS in a design capacity Knowledge of UX design principles and their application
