Sundays By We Are Sundaysis looking for anAssociate Designerto join the Design team.

TheAssociate Designerwill play a pivotal role in our design process, managing everything from seasonal design and product development to bulk submission and final production fit approval.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented team player who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and canworkindependently. The Associate Designer must be able to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and handle feedback with professionalism. Passionate about design and organized in their approach, this individual needs to be excited about taking a hands-on role within a design team with the goal of brand growth achieved through innovative and chic designwork.

This role reports to the Head of Design.

Responsibilities Include

• Support Head of Design with designing and developing the following categories – cut and sew, fully fashioned sweater knits, made in LA t-shirt program, and embellished wovens
• Will provide support in the following; tech packs, design, sketching, and weekly linesheet updates.
• Preliminary design research and assemble presentation boards for meetings.
• Attend and assist in fittings by updating design comments with factories and sketch updates.
• Assisting on set of our quarterly seasonal photoshoots
• Extra hand with general design studio management and general tidiness and organization along with the rest of the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.
• 3-5 years of experience in a Women’s Contemporary brand.
• Tech savvy with expertise in Excel, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Garment sketching on the computer is a must.
• Knowledge of creating tech packs, apparel construction and design.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be a team player, have the ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and take initiative.

Compensation

• Salary range starts at $60,000
• Sundays by We Are Sundays offers 50% covered of your medical
• Pension plan provided after one year of employment
• PTO and paid holidays throughout the year
