Associate Director of Digital & Social Media Marketing

Cambridge, MA (Hybrid; must be on-site 3x a week) I am partnering with a large biotech company searching for a digital expert to spearhead their digital & social media marketing strategy for the company's Rare Disease brand. This role will be responsible for developing & executing the brand's digital media strategy across channels to maximize both HCP and patient engagement. Key Responsibilities Design and implement a comprehensive digital & social media strategy for a rare disease brand, aligning with overarching business objectives. Act as the SME on digital & social media, crafting impactful campaigns while coordinating cross-functional resources to achieve desired outcomes. Lead social media advertising initiatives using a mix of paid, owned, and earned media, driving data-informed decisions and fostering a culture of continuous optimization. Create and drive innovative digital strategies targeting both HCPs and patients, with a focus on ongoing refinement to enhance engagement and impact. Establish key performance indicators and oversee social listening efforts, ensuring insights are actively shared and used to guide strategy Apply advanced analytics techniques to track campaign effectiveness and leverage insights to continuously improve campaign engagement and refine overall strategy Work closely with key stakeholders across functions to ensure unified messaging and strategic alignment across all communication channels. Drive innovation by identifying emerging trends and integrating new technologies, tactics, and strategies to enhance digital communications and engagement. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree Required; Advanced Degree Preferred 7+ years of marketing experience within the biotech/pharma industry 5+ years of social media and digital marketing experience Launch experience Seniority level
